Well, a lot of windows folks I know have started putting it in their hosts
files ... Of course, apparently this does soemthing bad to IE that I don't
quite follow :o
But since the site putting up the ads may be getting fundage from them,
you'd probably be better killing it at the FW; I'm not sure how they count
whether they've been delivered or not, but I garauntee that it at least
requires the adserver to send out the packets :)
OTOH, if you don't care about the site getting the aforementioned fundage,
either should work fine :)
