[ale] OT: BellSouth DSL keep-alive?

Thanks.  I'll try that, though I did notice that "yes" seems to be the
default value (perhaps my host's config file sets it to "no").

I RTFM'd the telnet command and didn't see a similar flag for it.  Any
thoughts on the equivalent for that?
