<probably an older geezer> I did search the various files for:
vt7
vc7
tty7
vc/7
virtual
console
"virtual console"
I was thinking X config as well, but haven't been able to locate any
references.
I've found some references to vc's but none to address this problem.
Did find some cool toys though.
'chvt N' will change you to virtual console #N, seems to only work if
you're root though.

Maybe I need to physically remove the /dev/tty?? devices????
