[ale] GaTech's linux mirror status

Thought I'd mention the ftp-linux.cc.gatech.edu Linux mirror machine is 
down due to a significant (3+ drives out in a raid) disk hardware outage.

The folks who care for the machine are aware and working on the problem 
and will re-enable the server when the data is restored.

This has been a public service annoucement.
