[ale] [OT] Ethics of munging USER AGENT without consent

All http traffic at my house runs thru a squid proxy that 
reports the USER_AGENT as Nutscrape/1.0 (CP/M; 8-bit).  An 
ocasional site refuses to service it, sometimes with 
strange error messages.  As for the ethics of reporting a 
bogus USER_AGENT, I can't think of any reason I can't keep 
that kind of information hidden.
