[ale] bg image error

hey i have been struggling trying to get my root bg to work and finnally i
found out why. when running bsetbg in the root console as i would put it
in a fluxbox init it says "could not find a suitable image program."
wmsetbg and Esetroot does not appear to be on my machine, im running
gentoo 1.4 any suggestions?
