[ale] streaming video question

I am trying to stream video from one pc toanother over a 10/100 LAN. I am
only am to get about 30-45 seconds before it starts to get jumpy on me. Does
anybody have any idea on how I can eliminate this? I have tried increasing
buffering size but that does not seem to work. I goes good until the buffer
has to be refreshed. I have been told that if I upgraded to gigabit LAN that
this would fix my problem. I would then have another problem ($$$).

Any help would be appreciated.
