[ale] Vtun over wireless

I've been using Vtun for months now to give me a connection
to a remote network over DSL.  I'm now using it temporarily to
connect a 100mb segment downstairs over wireless to the upstairs
segment.  It seems that after some inactiviy vtun locks up and 
must be restarted.  Does this have anything to do with the wireless
connection?
