Well, in a loose sort of way, Gates is right in saying that there is 
Microsoft IP in other products, including open source software. But if 
he wants us to accept that claim, then he also has to accept that a lot 
of outside IP has been incorporated into Microsoft products. DOS and 
Windows were hardly original products and the Microsoft modus operandi 
hasn't really changed since those days.
