I deleted the original request because I didn't have an answer.?? Now I found one.


I picked up a copy of Linux User & Developer today and it has some software called "CensorNet" included on the cdrom.?? It claims:

Easy installation
Filter websites by URL, keywords, or even images
Automatic network configuration
User-level control
Limit bandwidth on user-by-user basis
Instantly ban or allow sites
Detailed reports on each user


This sounds like an "all in one" solution for most people.?? Seems kinda like SurfControl for Linux.??
