[ale] Yellow Dog Video Problems

My setup:  Mac G4 dual proc at 933 Mhz each, 512 MB Ram, nVidia GeForce 4
video card, dual booting OS X and Yellow Dog 3 which share a 60 GB HDD

My problem:  I can only run 40-50% of the installed screensavers and the
ones that do run are very jumpy.  I'm a Linux noob but can move around on a
computer pretty well.  I have looked for drivers but alas, neither Yellow
Dog nor nVidia have drivers for Linux running on a Mac.  The other tech in
my department installed Red Hat 9 on his PC at home and is having a VERY
similar problem.  His video card is a nVidia TNT, and his PC has an AMD
mobo.

Yellow Dog is based on Red Hat, so it is not surprising that they have
similar problems.  My issue is that I can't find anything to help me fix the
problem.
