I have and you want:
Tanenbaum, Andrew S.; "Operating Systems: Design and
Implementation"; 1987
and the companion Minix implementation book and media.
Minix is the base Linus started with.
Comer, Douglas; (The XINU OS)? also wrote at least two
books, one OS, one networking, heavy with code and a
"complete" OS. I have those in storage.
