Run netconfig to set up your most used configuration then...
cp /etc/rc.d/rc.inet1 /etc/rc.d/rc.inetmod1
(just don't use the filename inet2, because it is already taken)
edit /etc/rc.d/rc.inetmod1 to suit
/etc/rc.d/rc.inet1 stop
/etc/rc.d/rc.inetmod1 start
rinse, repeat...
