If by "endorced" you mean supported, pretty much anything nvidia makes
works on linux using the drivers they offer. If you use the open source
drivers you will not get 3d support. For around $100US you can get a
geforce FX5200 or maybe a 5600 if you look hard enough on
http://www.pricewatch.com. I have an older geforce 3 that performs
fine, as well as a laptop with a geforce GO 5200. Good luck!
