SUSE has just released some new kernels.

How soon should they appear on ftp.ale.org?

See ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/suse/i386/update/9.2/rpm/i586/ and look for
kernels 2.6.8-24.8

They actually show a datestamp of a week ago, but I just got the
security announcement, so I suspect they just went up on the SUSE
site.
