Assuming you're talking the x86 version (unless you're one of the six guys
with a Tadpole running around ;-), it's got very hit and miss driver
support. No wifi yet, so-so video (better in 10 than in older, but still not
very widespread), limited sound, limited NICs, etc. More drivers are
promised, including b and g wifi, but probably not in time for 10 FCS.
Also, the boot on Intel is screwy. They're moving to grub and a sane boot
process, but that hasn't happened yet. I'd be surprised if that makes 10 FCS
either.
Also, be very careful if you plan on having it and Linux on the same laptop.
Solaris/x86 partition type is 0x82, as is Linux swap. Much hilarity ensues
as a result if you want them to co-exist. Sun's actually changing their
partition type (in a rare case of them admitting Linux is far more
popular!), but that wasn't merged in the public builds last time I looked.
later,
chris
