[ale] Inconsistent Mozilla behaviour between platforms

Howdy,
    There is a question that has been plaguing me for awhile.  I am 
reluctantly forced to use Windows at work.  I choose to use Mozilla 
instead of IE for obvious reasons.  But I have noticed that on sites 
using either jsp or asp I have to click links more than once for them to 
register.  The same sites on my linux box work as expected.  I thought 
it might be MS' broken JVM so I downloaded Sun's and installed it.  No 
dice.  Now, the same links in IE work as expected.  Anyone experience 
this behaviour before?  The conspiracy theorist in me smells a rat.
