I recently rewired my whole basement, so I've done a ton of research on 
this.  I've got two separate 20 amp circuits running to my home office. 
  I also installed three way switches for three other rooms.

It's a whole lot cheaper to do it yourself and have it inspected.  I 
also had a electician friend check it out prior to the inspection.
