[ale] xfree problem

So, I'm going along with my kewl dual head xfree setup.  I decide to 
upgrade my box from SuSE 8.2 to 9.0.  Suddenly, Xfree can't find my 
second monitor.  I'm using the same exact config.  What gives? 
Suggestions appreciated.
