Not in the least.
If I write a book and publish it in a dead tree edition you
can purchase a copy and that copy is yours to do with as you
please. You can put it on your book shelf, give it away, sell
it, use it to start a fire. I don't care.
BUT, if I distribute that same "book" in electronic form I
can sell you a "license" to read it. But the only thing you
can do with your electronic copy is destroy it. You can't give
it away, or sell it, and you certainly can't start a fire with
it. <grin> Those restrictions will all be noted in the "license
agreement" you must click through before you can download my
"book."
