For the sole purpose of learning a new OS, of course. I work in
academia, so I'm constantly searching out new things to learn to better
myself, and thus, to better the research goals of the Institute. I had
a spare dual-proc box laying around, and two spare gigE nics, so I
figured...why not learn how to make a FreeBSD firewall? I've done
firewalls with RedHat, IPCOP, SmoothWall, and purchased DLink and
Linksys solutions, and now want to move on to someting else. :)

Thanks!
