If you guys really want to play with RFID stuff (I was thinking about
doing it untill I got layed off...) DigiKey sells RFID tags and readers
by TI now.  The tags range from about $4 each for the cheapest, to
about $20 each for the most expensive.  The readers range from
about $65 for the cheapest, shortest range one, to about $2000 for
the best longest range one.

I was thinking about buying some to make an electronic door lock
for my house.
