[ale] OT: e-mail address migration and LDAP format

Context: I am moving a friend's e-mail from Win98SE to Mac OS-X using the 
native Mac OS-X e-mail reader.

Problem: e-mail application can import mailing lists in standard LDAP 
format, ILDP or a similar name (sorry - I failed to note exactly). Outlook 
Depress only exports its address book as 'csv' or an Ms Exchange format - 
neither recognized by OS-X's 'Address Book' app.

Status: I captured a 'csv' copy which opens just fine in Linux spreadsheet
apps, and I can save the file in typical spreadsheet formats, including
something called 'interchange data format'.

Can someone suggest a path from here to ILDP/LDAP format?

TIA. I don't know if this is worth ALE space - private mail is also fine.
