Wait until you find out that it also keeps track of dependencies for
you, so uninstalling a package through aptitude will remove all the
newly unused packages.

And for kicks, it also has an apt-get-like command line interface. I.E.,
you can do an aptitude search <package>, aptitude install <package>,
aptitude purge <package>, etc.
