[ale] question about wireless networking under fedora core 1

does anyone know of a graphical type program that I can use to be able to monitor my wireless signal strength.
I'm also interested in doing a bit of war driving just to see how well it can pick up.
I purchased an orinoco 802.11B silver pcmcia wireless networking card and it works great with fedora core 1. all I had to was punch in the settings
for my wireless access point (intel Anypoint networking gateway 1400) and I was good to go.
This card has a hookup for a external antenna so that's what has me interested in possibly trying my hand at "war driving" with it.
Thanks
Van
