At the last ALE Central, someone (Ken?) was asking about cleaning up
XML files, and I just stumbled across this: Tidy. It was actually
written for HTML, and appears to handle many errors that are easy to
make there, but it does have some (limited) support for XML. See:
<a rel="nofollow" href="http://tidy.sourceforge.net/">http://tidy.sourceforge.net/</a>
Also see:
<a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.w3.org/People/Raggett/tidy/">http://www.w3.org/People/Raggett/tidy/</a>
for an overview.
Enjoy!
