I got the latest source from the web site I was given. It compiled
clean on my 2.6.1-bk4 kernel but nothing useful from the -scan.

Doing my tests as root. Once I get it working I'll put a normal user in
the right group.

Nope, didn't get that until I removed the /dev/video, etc.

I did this with the /dev/video and /dev/video0 recreated per the
driver's README.
