I have a serious problem here and may be looking at reinstalling :-( I
have just upgraded the motherboard, agp card, sound card and memory on
my Sarge system. I was using a Matrox Mill. G200. The new card is a
Sapphire Radeon 9200. I have tried using "dpkg-reconfigure
xserver-xfree86" several times. The only thing that comes close to
working is the vga driver. Problem is that the screen image is so big I
can only see a corner of it and the cursor is huge as well. I have test
only on this system at this point and no other internet access. Does
anyone know what program Sarge uses for initial install and setup?
When i used Red Hat it had a hardware change detector that ran at each
boot. By the way I can modprobe radeon and the module will load.
Thanks All,
Jim Seymour
