"reduce the flow of customers to speedfactory": fat chance I say. The
customers flowing to speed factory don't seem to be all the price
conscious (at least from those I've talked to Ale and non-Ale), but
service conscious. One popular refrain: "I'm willing to pay extra for
better service".
Speedfactory might feel the need to reduce their prices a little, but I
can't imagine they have a huge margin to play with (unless their growth
is such that they are developing stronger economies of scale).
