[ale] pop3 retrieving single complete message

What would be a good way ("manual/interactive" or with some pgm/script)
to retrieve a complete-with-headers-and-html-crap message from
a pop3 server?

I used to use a little Perl thing called "poppy" but that isn't working
here somehow.

Other suggestions/alternatives?
