Yet another option--I installed Gentoo on an iBook G3 a year or so ago, worked
fine, but that, too, was just to see how it could be done & learn more about a
different hardware set-up. Fun, but I never got the display to be satisfactory.
A few months ago, tried the new version they're developing, but I didn't get
far.
