I don't think this will have anything to do with it.  Didn't you 
download this iso?  I built an iso of the boxed version, and you are 
correct, it is dual layer, and is >7gig, thus I was not able to make a 
copy of it.  The download version, as I understand it, does not have the 
64 bit goodies, thus it's small enough to fit on a standard dvd.
