I used to use a company called Nexcess (<a  rel="nofollow" href="http://www.nexcess.net";>http://www.nexcess.net</a>).  They 
had great customer service and offered shell access.  I don't remember 
the bandwidth limitations.  I have since switched to a box with Server 
Beach (<a  rel="nofollow" href="http://www.serverbeach.com";>http://www.serverbeach.com</a>).  I get tons of bandwidth and get to 
do pretty much anything to the box I want.  The price is a bit high 
(~$100).
