[ale] email attachments don't work using Evolution, huh ?

I'm running Evolution 1.4.6, I am much inconvenienced by not being able
to make attachments to my emails.

When I click on the file I want attached, it doesn't appear in the
attachment window, or anywhere else. 

This function works under Thunderbird without a hitch and I did nothing
to enable it, other than install the program.

Solution ?
