Walmart sells this for $64.93:
Creative 256 MB MuVo TX FM MP3 Player
Ultra-light MP3 Player with 256 MB, FM Radio, Voice Recorder
and Super Fast USB 2.0
DAPTD0004, White
There's a 128 MB model for $44.86, and there used to be a 256 MB model
for about $80. (not there any more).
I bought the 256 MB model for my granddaughter for last Christmas, and
it was so neat I had have one, too. The FM radio actually works, and
it's the smallest voice recorder I've seen.
It plugs into a USB port on a Linux box and is auto-mounted as
/media/usbdisk which contains an msdos filesystem. It is easy to
create directories and copy mp3 files to and from the memory stick.
I have even used xmms to play files from the mp3 player on the Linux
box.
