Isn't that the truth. :)  I can remember my first foray into Linux.  It 
took me a week to finally get it to generate "login:".  I was ecstatic. 
  It was about 4 am, I gave out this huge "Yes!".  My wife came running 
into my little office all bewildered.  I pointed to the screen and said, 
'look! login!'  She simply said, "it's after 4 am, you're an idiot", 
turned and went back to bed. :)

Two weeks later a similar scenario around 2:30 am when I got X running. 
  This time she simply screamed from the bedroom, "You're still and 
idiot!"  The next morning she asked me why didn't I go back to rock 
climbing and cross country skiing like a normal person. :) :)
