The Fall 2005 ALE Install Fest is now scheduled (and confirmed) for
   Saturday, November 5, 9:30am to 5:00pm

Thanks to the continuing support of Harold Bieber and Ben Chapman,
we will once again be holding the event at the familiar and comfortable
   Emory University School of Law, Agnor Room (3rd floor)

We will have at least 1 complete**, pre-installed, Linux desktop system to 
give  away at the event (modest 300-600 x86 CPU, 17" monitor, keyboard, 
mouse, cdrom), with the hope that it will be won by a starving student or 
similarly needy Linux newbie.

Sign up info for those interested in staffing and/or doing installations at  
the event will follow soon.  A promotional flier PDF should be available for 
distribution within a few days, and we would welcome everyone's ideas and 
help in spreading the word about this opportunity to share the benefits of 
Linux and OSS computing with others.
