Did you setup faxgetty for that modem? I've got hylafax configured and
working well. If you don't have a faxgetty process running, the faxes
just sit in the queue. Here's my /etc/inittab entry:
S0:12345:respawn:/usr/lib/fax/faxgetty ttyS0
