Even better my tape drive was operational and doing a test restore
when I left the office last night. (I was working late).

> > it is located on the DVD.
> >
> > I only have the downloaded DVD (the OSS version?).
> >
> > I have mounted it loopback and can see all of the contents. The file
> > /suse/i586/mt_st-0.7-423.i586.rpm is not there. The /suse/i586
> > directory is there and full of other packages, but nothing that looks
> > like mt_st.
> >
> > Surely mt_st is not a "commercial" package. What is going on, and can
> > someone with a purchased 10.0 DVD send me that rpm?
> >
> > FYI: I'm having SCSI tape issues with 10.0 and historically I've found
> > that calling stinit from the mt_st package is necessary for my tape to
> > work.
>
> Looking at my purchased dvd of 10.0 I see the following:
>
> /media/dvd/suse/i586/mt_st-0.7-423.i586.rpm
> /media/dvd/suse/x86_64/mt_st-0.7-423.x86_64.rpm
>
> 28K. I'll send it to you if you like, let me know.
