The only 802.11g cards I know of that have Linux drivers are the ones
with Prism chip set "ISL3890".
Heres an old list of cards that use the ISL3890 chip set:

Get the list/info then go shopping...
I still use an old 802.11b card so never had to worry, so I never tested
any of the above.
