[ale] FC4 and MTD

Does anyone have any experience getting MTD working on FC4. I have 
grabbed the latest CVS snapshot and followed the instruction, patched 
the kernel, but for some reason I can never get the make all to finish up.

I know this is a vague request but if anyone has used it and gotten it 
working please let me know I will post more specifics on my errors.

FYI I am not a programmer and am just getting back into Linux and trying 
to do a little embedded stuff.
