First thing I would do is try to figure out what subsystem that is?
Typically IDE is for traditional desktop IDE harddrives.
SCSI would be for basically everything not IDE nor SATA (drives, usb,
firewire, fiber-channel)
IDE_SCSI is for ??? Optical devices / CDs / DVDs ???
Maybe via lsmod you can get some insight.
