"Writing Your Own RPMs"

Overview:

  The RPM spec is notorious for being poorly documented, leaving
developers out in the cold when trying to write RPMs for their packages.
While this situation has improved slightly in the past ten years, it is
still sometimes difficult to do anything outside the bounds of the
various online RPM packaging tutorials.  This presentation attempts to
collect all of the knowledge available online as well as collected
first-hand experience from the presenter and others on how to properly
and effectively package RPMs, and use RPM tools to test, build, and
install the packages.
