[ale] lpap and password policies

Trying to configure ldap on Red Hat Enterprise 5 such that it supports 
password policies and enforcement.  It appears that the stock rpm does 
not support this, although I thought it was a simply overlay.

Anyone know if I'm going to be required to recompile ldap from source in 
order to get password policy control availability?
