Install. Sure enough.

uname -a
Linux mango 2.6.24-19-server #1 SMP Wed Aug 20 18:43:06 UTC 2008 x86_64 
GNU/Linux

sniffit -s 127.0.0.1
Segmentation fault

and yet it will work in interactive mode:
"sniffit -I"  works.

It's consistant across several versions of system, it does not like cli 
mode on 64 bit machines with the 64 bit install. Works great on 32 bit.
