[ale] Small fonts on my Kubuntu machine

Friends:

I also have a different Kubuntu machine.  It works fine when connected to my
monitor.  However yest I connected the Kubuntu machine to the  LCD TV.  It
started fine and works fines but the fonts are very very small.  They are
extremely small.

Any idea how to get this fixed

 I googled it and there are a few solutions but the solutions that I get
here is easy to follow and feel it is personal.
