[ale] cd command and auto complete

I use bash.  Take this scenario

prompt>ls -l
config
configevents

prompt>cd co<TAB>

It does not alternate between config and confievents folder(s)

However on Windoze platform

c:\users\narahari>dir
config
configevents

c:\users\narahari>cd co<TAB>
It presents both config first and then another <TAB> puts configevents.

How can I get that behaviour in bash ?
