[ale] peppermint vs puppylinux vs others

Friends:

I have a laptop which has an Atom processor.  It has 2GB of RAM on it with
128GB of SSD.
Since Atom does not have ability to do KVM and Virtualbox on 2GB of RAM is
not a great idea, I plan to do a dual boot.

Now I am trying to find good options.

a.  Peppermint Linux
b.  Puppy Linux
c.  DSL ? may be
d.  Tinycore ?
e.  Ubuntu Mix for Netbooks ?
f.   SuSe for Netbooks available ?

Anyone has experience with any of these on netbooks ?
