Innocent until proven guilty. That's the way it's supposed to work in 'Merica. 

that's the way it MUST work in any normal society/person's head. Otherwise it's medieval inquisition. Period.

I absolutely agree with your statement.  Too many people forget that "beyond a reasonable doubt"and "innocent until proven guilty" are simply terms which apply to the American (and British, and others)legal systems, and don't automatically apply to all other human interaction.  (That doesn't mean that we should somehowadopt "guilty until proven innocent").
