Funny. It's something we use everyday, but noone seems to know exactly
why it was chosen. Maybe Jon Postel, knew but he's gone, of course.
Joyce Reynolds may know, but I haven't been able to get in touch with
her. I found a pargraph about it in RFC920, but no realexplanation as to
why.
